About Us:
Ocean Link, Inc. has been providing top-notch mobile marine services throughout Rhode Island and Southern New England since 1989. We specialize in Yacht Systems Design, Installation, and Repair. Our team is passionate about what we do, and we’re looking for like-minded people with experience in Marine HVAC.

Position Summary:
As a Marine Service Technician, you’ll be diving into all aspects of yacht service, including:

  • Marine A/C and refrigeration systems
  • Sanitation systems, watermakers, and pumps
  • Water, fuel, and holding tanks
  • Electrical components (DC & AC), and more.

You’ll work both independently and with our team, engaging with yacht owners, captains, and crew in a professional and straightforward manner.

This is a full-time, year-round position—no seasonal layoffs.

What You’ll Do:

  • Diagnose, repair, and install marine HVAC and refrigeration systems
  • Assemble, install, and repair pipes, hoses, fittings, and fixtures for heating, water, and drainage systems
  • Install and maintain valves, pipe fittings, and pipes (metal and non-metal materials)
  • Service and troubleshoot electrical systems onboard yachts (DC and AC)
  • Use hand tools and wiring diagrams to identify issues and complete repairs
  • Perform preventative maintenance, surveys, replacements, and modifications as needed
  • Prepare for on-site work by reviewing yacht layouts and gathering materials
  • Assist with ordering parts for repairs and maintain inventory awareness
  • Provide technical support and guidance to yacht owners and crew

Who We’re Looking For:
We want motivated, hands-on technicians who:

  • Understand DC and AC electrical systems
  • Have HVAC experience (marine or residential)
  • Can work independently and as part of a team
  • Communicate effectively and professionally
  • Are proactive, reliable, and take pride in their work

What You’ll Need to Apply:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Your own set of hand tools
  • A cellphone for on-site communication
  • Current EPA Certification
