Ocean Link to Debut
Revolutionary New Toilet
at Main Boatbuilders Show

Dry Flush ToiletPortsmouth, RI: Ocean Link Inc., the “Marine Plumbing Specialists” of Portsmouth, Rhode Island will debut what the manufacturer calls “The Perfect Toilet” at the Maine Boatbuilders Show taking place in Portland on March 15 – 17. This will be the first time the “Go Anywhere” Dry Flush toilet has been shown and demonstrated to New England boaters.

Many toilets claim to be odor free, but the Dry Flush unit truly is. This is made possible through the use of a specially designed and patented cassette that dispenses clean material into the bowl after every flush. The flush cycle encapsulates the waste material into an odor-tight pouch. The pouch is compacted into the bottom of a container within the toilet. After approximately 17 flushes, the cassette containing the pouches is easily removed and disposed of as diapers would be. All waste, both solid and liquid, is securely encased so the user never has contact with it.

The fully portable Dry Flush unit looks and is used like a regular toilet. It is very lightweight, durable and uses no water or chemicals. It is powered by a battery cell which provides up to 300 flushes per charge. It can also be permanently affixed and wired in if desired.

We caught up with Brian while he was upgrading a sanitation system aboard a Talaria 43. The new equipment is a VacuFlush electric toilet system.

On weekends you can find Brian working on or drag racing his customized 2003 Dodge Dakota truck.
